Gossip: typer og konsekvenser

There are four kinds of gossip, party gossip, office gossip, shop gossip and telephone gossip.

Gossip has two sides, a good one and a bad one. The four kind of gossip all have consequences, good ore bad, so no matter what kind of gossip you practice, remember to think about the consequences. Some gossip can have very bad consequences like suicide, depression, stress and also hurt feelings. Some good things are good reputation for companies, musicians and actors. In some cases like about murders it can be good, cause if a family father kills his family with no reason the neighbors start talking and maybe find out something that can help the police.

Party gossip could be one of your friends starts some gossip about you having an affair. That will spread very quickly and soon reach your boy- or girlfriend and perhaps cost you your relationship. Shop gossip can shot down your business if one of the costumers starts some gossip about mould in your store.

Office gossip could be about to coworkers making out in the copy room and lead to one of them getting fired. It could also be about some people getting fired because the firm has financially problems. Another kind of party gossip is about where parties are being hold. For example the party you are having in the evening. You start the gossip so that as many as possible will show up so the party doesn’t suck. Then five ours later people are very drunk and trash your house and the positive gossip that your started ends up bad.
