1 The text `Live like doge, alone ´ is about a women called Miriam how is been picked up bye at taxi, after a visit at the hospital. Most of the text takes place in the car. She is having a conversation with the cab driver, who is complaining about his life. He starts the conversation by seeing: I live like dog, alone. They talk about life and how miserable it all seams to bee, she tries to cheer him up, and while talking to this man Miriam sits back and considers her own life.
She is divorced from a man who left her for a younger women/actress. However, she lived well tough she missed something. Miriam got a job and was voted Businesswomen of the year. After a wild ride trough the streets of London, thy arrived at Miriam’s house. The driver asked: Shall I come in for a cup of coffee? Instead, she invites him in at her place.
2 Deep down Miriam do not like the life that she is living. She is living this stressed life with meetings and other business related things, this prevents her having this normal social life, life with a husband and children. At some point where they rush trough red lights trough the streets of London, it is quite clear that she is afraid, perhaps afraid of living life.
