One of the good things by using the new technology is that you get used to using the computer on equal terms as paper and pencil and what else you use. It is all about getting a routine and to get accustomed to use the computer instead of pencil and book. The future is the technology and there will come more and more of it and I thing that in a few years a lot of schools will have the same concept and will plan their lessons as at St Cecilia’s. Another good thing by the use of computers is that most of the information you search on the Internet is updated. It is then not old and greasy books which have been used for years, but new and updated articles.

Another advantage of the computer and the Internet is that there are almost endless possibilities for searching contrary to books.

The pupils at St Cecilia’s will be hardened for the future and will be able to lead the development. They will easily get a job because they know about computer technology and they find it convenient to use the newest equipment.

The main bad thing about computers and technology is the economy. It is extremely expensive for the school to buy new computers every year. The school has 300 pupils and the price for a computer is about £ 800 each. A computer has an estimated lifetime of 3 years.
