Ellinge Lyng is an area in the town Vig. It’s a huge nature area with summerhouses. Ellinge Lyng is actually one big forest, if you look at the area from someplace high, you will not be able to see the summerhouses, you can only see trees and lakes.
First time I visited Ellinge Lyng was with my family, my mom, dad and my older brother [NAVN B], we were looking at summerhouses that were for sale. In the moment we entered the dirt road called Fyrrevej, I knew that this was the right place for our summerhouse, so did my mom and dad. We bought the house and spent our first summer in it. The house is only 100 meters away from the ocean. The beach area is a beautiful place. Before you get to the beach you need to pass a bridge, which gets you over a big marshland area with a lot of animals, cows, seagulls, frogs and fish. I now realized why many tourists like the Danish nature.
One day my dad took me to a place in the area called Høve Bakke. Høve Bakke is a big hill with big wheat fields. From the hill you can get a look over Ellinge Lyng. The first thing that got into my mind was just “Wow”. You could see everything, the forest, the beach, the marshland, everything. Personally, it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in Denmark.
