Disney is founded by Walter Disney. Walter is born 5. December 1901 in Chicago and he died 15. December 1966. He is one of the most famous persons in the comic strip world.
His parents moved to Marceline in Kansas, then Walter was four years old, so he grow up on a farm. In 1920 start Walter and his brother Roy to made a comic strip figure, and in 1928 he made Mickey Mouse.
Walter journeyed from Kansas to Hollywood in 1923, and together with his brother Roy founded he a film studio in their uncles garage, and made a series movie called Laugh-O-Gram and one about "Alice's adventures in Wonderland". Alice been played by really girls, but it was a painted background and figures.
Mickey Mouse was the first figure Walt Disney invented.
Walt Disney is most known for his famous cartoons. Specially The Lion King and Bambi.
In the 1930’s made Walt many little cartoons, and it was there he made some friends to Mickey Mouse. Donald Duck, Goofy and Mickey Mouse’s dog Pluto.
Even though Walt Disney is dead, there still be product movies from Disney.
In Denmark cut we see the popular channel, Disney Channel the 28. February 2003.
