I was mad. I sat there between two men, and I was insecure. The driver kept touching me, and Mark surprised me, when he quiet and calm sat there and watched the traffic. He told me that we were going to London, but instead we were heading to Bristol. I didn't know the city, but when we got to Bristol, Mark jumped out and pulled me down too. The truck departed right after. I was so affraid, that I could cry, but then I realized. Then I realized, that if I went with Mark, I would be safer. They couldn't actually catch me anyway, but if they came to Bristol, then they had to get past Mark first. If he would try to protect me, if he could protect me and if I still was going with Mark, when they came to town. If they came to town. That's many 'if''s. Too many so I decided to run away from Mark, when I got the first chance. My first chance came quickly. Mark sat down on the road and smoke without saying a word. I just stood and watched him, but then suddenly he dropped his cigarette and took my arm. He said, that he wanted me to follow, and I shouldn't try to run away or call for help. That's all, he said. We've walked for a lifetime. Or it felt like a lifetime. I was hungry and cold, and I was very confused. Mark kept walking pulling me with him, and after a few minutes, he stopped. We were at a gas station. There were signs all over the place. It was all lighted up. I tried to guess the price of the gas stations electric consumption. We went into the station, where a young girl sat behind the desk and read a magazine, while she was eating some kind of disgusting bread. When we came in, she asked: "Can I help you"? Mark suddenly shouted: "Shut up!" His hand went into his pocket, and when he raised his hand again, he was holding a gun. I was very affraid, and I didn't move, because he seemed angry, and I couldn't come up with a reason, that could prevent him from shooting me, if I tried to escape. Mark ordered the young girl to give him all the money, she could find. She came up with 1000 pounds, and then Mark shot her. I screamed and screamed. It was terrifying. He just shot a young girl. Now he began to run, and he pulled me with him. We kept running, until we came into a city. Then he slowed down, but we were still walking fast. Then he stopped. He saw an alley, and pushed me forward. I started to cry, because I was sure, that he was going to rape me now. Instead he started talking. He started to explain. He said, that everything was going to be good now. I was confused, but I decided to listen to him. He said, that he knew, he has done some stupid things, and now he wants to "make it up to me". I still didn't know, what he was talking about, so I just sat there on the ground, listening to him. He took down the money from the gas station: "with these money we can have a new beginning, a new life". "Now I can feed you and our child". "What are you talking about?" I asked, "I don't have a child, and I don't know you". ""Oh", he said, "then I've been chasing the wrong one". He helped me got on my feet and said sorry. Then he left. I just stood there for hours. Confused. Then the police officer came. I guess, he recognized me, because all he said was: "you're under arrest, put your hands on the ground!"
