How are you? Do you look forward to Christmas, like i am? I’m starting to prepare me to Christmas. Now there’s only 10 days to Christmas. I really can’t wait. In my class room, we have dressed up with Christmas decorations. Here in Denmark we celebrate Christmas like many others places. We get guests or are guests at other places. We eat a very good meal, that including: pork roast or duck or both, red cabbage, potato, brown potato, brown sauce and chips. And for dessert we normally get risalamande. And that is: rice pudding and whipped cream and crushed almonds mixed. We always put a hole almond into risalamangen, and the person who have it, gets a gift. After we have eat all the food, we clean it all up and hurry into the living room, where the beautiful Christmas tree stand. We have around the fifteen December been out and trap a Christmas tree and put it into the room, and only a few days before Christmas Eve we had decorated it beautifully up. But after we have eat, we go into the living room and turn the lights at the Christmas tree on and dancing around the Christmas tree while we singing: now its Christmas again, high from a trees green top, happy Christmas and a child is born in Bethlehem, but that’s just some few of them. Its also different from family to family. The traditional Christmas colors are fir green, snow white and heart red, but it is probably also where you live. Every year there are least two Christmas calendars in the television from the 1. December to the 24. Decemer. The day efter Christmas Eve is the 25. December which also is called “Christmas day” and there have my dad birthday, but we just relax and look at the gift we have received. We also have advent in Denmark, advent is latin and means “he comes” advent is the fourth Sundays before Christmas. Many people have an advent wreath, that’s a wreath whit four light, and the first Sunday in advent you turn the first light, and the second Sunday in advent you turn the first and the second and so on.
