Funen Village: An open-air museum

Funen Village includes some thirty buildings, its a village from old times. In the village can people find pets, animals, fields, village people and of course blacksmith. The city has been taken as a museum in Denmark, to show tourists and other people, how people lived in Denmark in ancient times.

A village consists of more than just farms and houses. The people and animals that make the buildings come alive communicate important aspects of the history of the village.

Family fun in the Village: During the summer there are a large number of activities and events involving both children and all other people. The activities take place at various locations in the Village, but are usually connected to the Skanby-Torup farm. many of Them forming part of the regular maintenance in the funen village. Here can people watch or try hand at old artisan trades.Many people learning things about the past time, the old time, how people lived.
