Lucy is a girl. She is around 13 years old. In school she is a grade A student, but that seems to be changing. She recently became friends with a girl named Bethan. Lucy sees Bethan as the cool girl in school. That is probably why Lucy wanted to be friends with her in the first place, so she would be the bully instead of the bullied. Lucy is practically forced by Bethan, to do things she would never have thought of doing herself. Such as smoking, wearing make-up, hitting other kids and cutting classes. In return, other kids are afraid of teasing Lucy, because Bethan would come after them. All the bad things Lucy does, is done in secrecy of her mother. It is hard for her to hide, and that is why she looks forward to the future, where life probably would be much simpler.
Bethan is a girl. She is around 13 years old. She is the cool girl in school, but she treats people very rudely. She recently became friends with one of the dorks, Lucy. That is probably so she could have somebody to control all the time, and someone to take the blame for her. Bethan smokes, wears make-up and hits people, and makes Lucy do the same things. Bethan’s grades are probably not that good either, because she likes to cut classes. The reason why Bethan is such as hard girl is that, her family life is not very good. Her older sister had an abortion at early age, and the guy who got her pregnant was in prison for Grievous Body Harm. Her mother is not that good at handling these events, so she sets a poor example for Bethan and her sister, by swearing and eating unhealthy.
