People leave their native countries mostly because of poverty, starvation, unemployment, to get security and to the life they have dreamed of in a long time – a materialistic life with food, a car, a house and they want to earn much money. It is poor people from for example Africa and Asia who want to move to the western countries in Europe and to the US. The foreigners are dreaming of a saver and better life with more freedom. They are trying to prove their quality of life. In Denmark we got migrants workers from for example Eastern Europe, Rumania, Bulgaria, Poland, Baltic Countries, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Belarus. They immigrate to Denmark to Apply for residence and work permission. They hope to get a job in Denmark, so they can earn some good money. But it is not always easy to be a foreigner in Denmark. The foreigners in Denmark meets a new language, culture, society with a different religion and different law. It is often difficult to the foreigners to find a job and make friends in Denmark, cause they will so nearly as always meet discrimination and racial prejudices. Some foreigners even get teased because they look and talk different than the Danish people do. We can help those foreigners to become well integrated. We should get to know them, and leave our prejudges behind our bags. We need to stop judge the foreigners because of the differences between us. We need to build a bridge over the culture gap.
