The article is about a man where flying is a frequent part of his weekly routine. The airport used to be a place almost as familiar as his living room, but after 9/11 the security procedures got more increased.

After 9/11 some of his friends chose not to fly anymore, simply because they felt uncomfortable about the security. The man started to adjust his choice of shoes and luggage to minimize the possible problems with security. He doesn’t mind the fact that strangers is checking his luggage because he knows it’s to help society, but every item, even the intimate items get held up and cheeked and he feels that it is infringe on his privacy.

Every time you think you find a way to get quick through the security, they need you to spread you arms and legs and let them check you.

Outline of the various attitudes

After 9/11 the procedures in airports changed, not only to protect the nations but also to make the passengers feeling safe. The security procedure should be more safe now, the luggage check and the check of passengers. It should all be more organized now when we have seen what could happen so close. Even though 9/11 was a wakeup call to the world, the airport is not as safe or organized as we think.
