The poem is about boredom, where he describes how bored he is. But in the last line he writes that he is positively bored, which indicates that it’s not a bad boredom. I think that he may be an average teenager because the days sometimes look like each other. I call it “The chain of an average student” and by that I mean, that you’re doing the same thing most of the time. You wake up in the morning and eats breakfast and then you’re going to school to 2 o’clock and walks home. And then you’re turning either your pc or your television on. Nowadays the television is replaced by Facebook, which you probably use a lot, when you’re a teenager. Then you’re going to dinner and after that you walks up to your room and turn on Facebook again and start to look at the news for 20 minutes. Then you start to do your homework until its 22:00 am and then you’re going to sleep. That’s an average day for a teenager with a little exaggeration in it.
He writes that there is nothing to look at and there is nothing to say. I must agree with that because nowadays you’re doing more things alone because you have more entertaining stuff than 50 years ago. For 50 years ago you spent more times with your friends because you didn’t have a computer or PlayStation to play with and that can sometimes be a little boring for somebody.
