Thank you all. Thank you all for coming here tonight. Thank you all for supporting me. It has been a rough couple of months. Mitt Romney was a great and worthfull opponent. I have a lot of thanks to hand out. And first of all comes you, America.

America has spoken and I am humbled by the trust and confidence of my fellow citizens. With that trust comes a duty filled with greatness. A duty that I will do my very best to fulfil.

I am going to prove you and the rest of the world my worthy, by keeping my promises and guiding you into a brighter future.

I want to thank the superb campaign team that agreed to work with me. You helped me when it looked darkest and guided me towards the light. Jim Messina, David Axelrod, Matthew Burzun and Ben LaBolt, you and the best campaign team ever, made this possible. I could not thank you more.

Last but not least I would like a moment to applaud and thank my family. My loving and supporting wife, Michelle, and our amazing daughters, Malia and Sasha. You are the rock in my life and I could not have done this without you.
