The movie is about a man, Mr. Kowalski aka. Walt. Mr. Kowalski is a retired soldier, he were fighting at the Korean War. The Father (Priest) promised Mr. Kowalski's wife, to make Walt confess for his sins. An Asian family (Hmong's) moves in next to him, and he doesn't like that. They are 4 in the Asian family, Sue, Thao, Mother and grandmother. Thao's cousin is the Leader of an Asian gang, which he want's Thao to join the gang. He's first job is to steal Mr. Kowalski's car, a 1972 Ford Gran Torino. Thao made high noises in the garage, and Mr. Kowalski discovered Thao and went out to him. Mr. Kowalski felt over something, and Thao got away. Mr. Kowalski stood up against, some hardcore niggas – and saved his neighbor Sue from getting raped. Mr. Kowalski discovered that something wasn’t well, outside his neighbor house. He went outside, and helped Thao so he didn’t went with his cousins gang members. The asian family, and familys family came with gift's for Mr. Kowalski, and he wouldn't recieve them. Sue, Thao and their mother, went over to Mr. Kowalski, so Thao could work for him, because he tried to steal his car. He got a work at Mr. Kowalski, and after 3 weeks, he stopped and Mr. Kowalski helped him find a new job. Mr. Kowalski was invited by Sue to dinner at their place, everyone looked down on him in the beginning, but they started liking him at the end. Mr. Kowalski helped Thao to get a date, with one of the other asain girls at the party. Mr. Kowalski rented tools to Thao, so he could work on his new job. Thao's cousins gang found Thao bet him up and destroyed his tools, so Thao went home and met Mr. Kowalski and they got a talk. A couple of days after, the gang stops by Thao's family’s house, and bet up Sue and raped her. Mr. Kowalski took over to the gang's place, and got a talk to them, when he reach out for his Lighter, he suddenly get shot. When Mr. Kowalski dies, someone should have all his things. He had written a testament for who should have the different things. His grand daughter really wanted the old Ford Gran Torino, but instead he gave it to Thao
