What was the most important scene or issue in the movie "Amistad" in your opinion? Why? Argue your point!
There are many important scenes in the movie. The scene, where the blacks were captured on the ship after they got free, is the most important one. In my opinion, it is the most important scene because if it didn’t happen then there were no cases of the Amistad. If there weren’t any case, the movie would never have been filmed and we wouldn’t imagine how hard the blacks and the abolitionist fought for freedom. It is easier to imagine things, when it is filmed.
The scene, where the blacks caught their own people and sold them, is also important scene. We saw how the blacks treated them. They treated them like animals and not human being. It did tell us a lot about how they were treated and how these slavery trades happened. It was a tough scene to watch.
The start was also important. It gave us an idea of what this movies is going to be like. At first, we saw Cinque trying to pull a screw/nail to free him and the others. Afterward they pick up some equipment to kill those on the ship.
