Nelson Mandela – A freedom fighter Nelson Mandela was born on 18 July and died 5 December 2013. He was a South African politician and activist. He was the first black President of his country and his government focused on throwing out the legacy of apartheid by ending racism, poverty, inequality and to bring up racial understanding in South Africa.
