The text is about an American psycho, Patrick, who goes to the zoo. I think Patrick is very lonely because, he walks alone and he describes very detailed how the zoo looks like and how the animals behave and look and maybe it is a symbol of how lonely he is and he has homicidal compulsion. If he has company, he will not see as much detailed on the animals and who there is at the zoo. Patrick sees a boy and he is watching him. The boy comes over to the corner were Patrick stands, to throw some paper out in the trash. Patrick says the typical sentence for luring a little boy. P. 180 l. 1 “would you like a cookie?” Instead of a cookie, Patrick stabs him with a knife in the neck. It is just after some time, that the little boy’s mom notices he is gone. When she finds him, he is covered with blood and struggling to breathe. Fortunately he is not dead yet. Patrick is already further with another kid, but goes back to the little boy when he finds out that the boy is no dead yet and says that he is a doctor. He will do anything to kill that little boy he do not even know and Patrick likes it. THE MAN IS A PSYCHO.
