I have chosen to make an analysis of the movie “American Psycho”. The movie is a film adaptation of the book “American psycho”. It’s a movie by Mary Harron. I thought it would be interesting to write an analysis of this movie, because the movie had a nerve wracking ending.

The movie is about a man named Patrick Bateman, who says “There’s an idea of Patrick Bateman… I’m simply not there”.

Patrick Bateman murders Paul Allen and a homeless man. He tries to murder his secretary and another colleague but lets them go. He kills a prostitute, a call girl$, and a model. He shoots an old woman, then police arrives so he kills the police. Patrick has chopped some of their bodys and hides them at Paul Allen's place.

He gets insane and calls his lawyer to confess. Next day he goes to a club and meets his lawyer, the lawyer take it as joke because he had lunch with Paul Allen some time ago. His Secretary goes to his office and looks at his drawings in his calendar (with drawings of all his murders).
