Both of the voices in the songs are talking generally, in that way they want someone to listen; “we don’t need no education” and “bring the boys back home” The voices are telling someone they have to make a change, as Another Brick In The Wall repeats in the song; “ Hey, teachers, leave those kids alone” both voices have an opinion towards something going on in society. When the voice in the song tells the listers to “bring the boys back home” the voice is addressing the whole society. The word “boys” has a double meaning because when you normally say boys you are referring to the boy next door or down the street, but in this scenario, the voice is talking about very young soldiers going to war. In that way, the songs are referring to each other, because they are addressing young children getting abused. The voices talk about the problem in different ways, in Bring the boys back home” the voice says;” don’t leave the children on their own, no, no”. As mentioned in the quote, the one voice wants to “don’t leave the children” and the voice from Another Brick In The Wall wants to “leave them kids alone” Because the two songs involve different types of matters.
