In 1889 a Danish artist painted the picture called "Udslidt". His name was Hans Andersen Brendekilde, or H. A. Brendekilde. He was born in 7th April 1857 in Odense, and died 30th March. Some of his other popular pictures are "Fortrykt", "De første anemoner" and "Sæbebobler". He was inspired by L.A. Ring, another Danish artist.
