Coach Carter: filmresumé

The movie is about Mr. Carter, who becomes coach for the Richmond High´s basketball team. The guys on the team are very unfocused, and there is a really bad chemistry between the boys. When Coach Carter takes over the team, he gives the boys a contract, that’s saying that the players must have an average point on 2,3. It also tells that the boys have to wear suit and tie, at every game they play, and that the players have to show up at every class, and sit on the front row. Some players do not accept the demands, and decide to leave the team. The remaining players need to sign the contract, and follow the new rules. The boys train extremely hard, and win their first game. Coach Carter keep pushing the boys to do the hard training, and the city notice the success on the team. They get a lot of attention, and continue winning every game. One of the boys, who left the team, wants to return to the team. Coach Carter agrees to let him back on the team, if he do 2500 push ups and 1000 suicide runs by the next Friday. He hadn’t reach the demand that Coach Carter gave him, but the team supported him, even though he turned his back against the team at first, and together they finished the goal as a team.
