Two different societies The Amish is a group of people who live all around the world. For people who are not Amish, the Amish appear to be less modern and more reluctant to the technological development. They have chosen an alternative lifestyle where they, among other things, follow their own set of rules called “The Ordnung”. The Amish community reminds me of the old days because “The Ordnung” says that they can not use any technology invented after the 17th century, meaning that the Amish do not have cars, tvs, washing machines etc. They believe that technology is a threat
