Christopher Francis Ocean better known by his artist name Frank Ocean is an American singer. He is 29 years old and has been active in the music business since 2005. He got very famous a few years ago when he released his album “Channel Orange”, he released last year a new album called “Blonde”. Even though you might not know Frank Ocean, you have probably heard his most popular song “Lost” or “Thinking about you”. He is known for his idiosyncratic musical style. He is not just a singer, he can also rap and he is also a very good DJ. Even though he is not the best live on stage, he still induces to make good music.
He said himself that one of the reasons for his special music genre is that he as a child grew up around Louisiana’s local jazz scene and listened to a lot of his moms old Cd’s. I believe that is where he got a lot of his inspiration from.
Even though Frank had and has a breakthrough he is not in same league as ZAYN or Justin Bieber, witch also is why I find him interesting. He makes music the way he wants to make music, he does not care about what people would like.
