My CouchSurfing Experience in London

I would like to share my experience, to inspire the young people out there.

I had just finished my high school and I wanted to have a gap year, but I was in doubt about what I would like to. I just knew I needed a new start.

Then I saw this amazing advertising on my Instagram. It was a delight to the eyes. There was a lot of word pictures, and the headline “If you want a new beginning, then change your life with “CouchSurfing””. I clicked, and then I knew this would be a new chapter of my life.

It was Saturday and I was landed in London airport. I was a little bit nervous, but at the same time I was looking forward to meeting my new hosts.

My first impression was really good, and there was no reason to be scared.

The family was existing of a mom, a dad, a little girl and Jack - a boy at my age.

The father of the family was the head of his own company, which means he had a good income.

They were therefor living in a big villa, on a central street in Oxford. They were atheists and lived a normal life in a British culture.
