The mind is something incredible and unexplainable. How can a person fantasize, and is it possible to determine whether it is a good thing or a bad thing? Children will often read a fantasy story, and from that, they will teach themselves and manipulate their brains to believe in something fantasy-related. Beth Webb, the writer of the article, says that it’s a vital thing for the mind. It is important that a kid can visualize a monster when in reality there is nothing. This can give a kid emotions such as love, fear, happiness, or sadness. Fantasy stories usually have a moral in them, and that can teach the kid a lot. Kids prefer to be told a story with a moral rather than a parent speaking directly to them. They are inexperienced and that's why they don't know how to control their emotions. Taking a step outside reality to a place of pretending, and using the imagination prepares us for the harsh world that we cannot see as children. But that's not her only points. She also writes that teenagers and adults can also use fantasy to get out of reality. It is great to come out to a different world. It can teach us a lot and help us to tackle the situations we are in better.
