Karakteranalyse af Rick Grimes i 'The Walking Dead'

The Walking Dead is characterized as the genre doomsday and its an American dystopia comic book series created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore.

The story is about Rick Grimes wakes from a coma to a zombie-infested world, and meets Morgan and Duane Jones. Rick sets out to Atlanta to find his missing wife and son.

Rick Grimes is the main character in the story The Walking Dead Volume 1: Days Gone Bye by Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore. Rick Grimes is a police officer that was shot right next to the rib and fell into a come that lasted around a month. He wakes up in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and immediately starts looking for his Lori Grimes and Carl Grimes who are his son and wife and the first thing he did was to look for them at his home and when he found out they weren’t there he got emotional and started crying on the floor and almost loses hope but when he afterward looked drawers and saw that they took the pictures with them he begins to think that they are still out there somewhere, that made Rick a strong-willed and intelligent person and he seems like a person that is willing to protect and do almost everything for his family. On the way to big city, he sees a helpless zombie with no legs that are just laying and making painful noises so he role a tear and shoot the zombie that makes him a very emotional and sympathetic person his car runs out of gas so he needs to find another way to the city so he finds a horse and learned how to ride the that makes him a really quick learning person. When he arrived in the big city he immediately surrounded but a massive group of zombies trying to kill him but he found a way out with help from Glenn Rhee who saw him from the rooftop, Rick is good at keeping his head cold and focusing even in the worst situation. Glenn Rhee helps Rick to get to the rest of the survivors and right when he got he almost immediately started to take the leadership of the group of survivors. Rick is a character who is good at taking the leadership and good a listing to everybody’s opinion
