Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born on 18 July 1918 in Mvezo, Umtata south Africa. He had thirteen siblings by the same father, and two mothers. Mandela then lived with the local regent who sent him to school. He was the first member of his family to go to a school.
Nelson Mandela was a happy man when he was released from jail, he was surrounded by the people that loves him, in 1992 he had to sacrifice his marriage to Winnie. She had been convicted of kidnapping, and nelson reluctantly announced a separation. Today the pain on both sides is hidden, he saw politics over his family, and never spend that much time with his family. His life after he got released from jail was the same everyday, he promised people that their lives would improve if they voted for him. The people in south Africa asks nelson Mandela for water, toilets, jobs, for rights to health, and for living wages. Not yachts, mansions and supercars. Nelson Mandela also tried to violence in south Africa, Roelf Meyer the previously government minister, regrets apartheid and is sorry for the mistakes in the past. And he says it is important to look how it can be repaired.
