On the 11th of September 2001, the most tragic experience of my life happened. Like every other day, I was going to work in my New York office. I was doing paperwork and it was so quiet I could hear a needle flat to the ground.
I suddenly heard some loud plane noises. It sounded like they were close to land. I went out to look when I heard a lot of people shouting and screaming. When I looked up, I saw that a plane was flying right towards the Twin Towers. All the people were curious and stood and looked up. Suddenly, the plane hit into one of the towers. There was a huge explosion, and I flew back into a wall. There was so much pressure that I fell. I rushed to take my phone out to film. Just when I started filming, another plane came in. It flew straight into the second tower. It was a loud bang. Both towers caught fire, and within a short time you could hear ambulances and police sirens in New York. I could see a lot of people running around in panic. The rescuers ran in and out of the buildings. I saw them coming carrying a lot of wounded people. All of a sudden, the towers collapsed, bringing a heavy dust layer all over New York. I couldn't see anything but dust and smoke. All you could hear was yelling, screaming and a lot of sirens.
