you asked what the relationship between parents and young people is, I think it’s hard to answer because it depends so much on the family, some families are very close and talk a lot about everything, other families are more distant, not so close and don’t really talk that much to each other.
I am a lot closer to my mom than my dad, it’s just easier to talk to my mom about more private stuff because she has probably also been there and has experience in whatever I’m asking.
I have always been very close to my mom and less close to my dad, I always told my mom exactly what was happening in my life, but as I got a little older, I became more private and I didn’t want them to get involved too much in my life. Recently I have gotten a lot closer to them, and we watch movies every day after dinner, and that has made us a lot closer.
