Review af 'Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption'

Rita Hayworth and Shawshank redemption is about Red the narrator that killed his wife by disabling her brakes but end up killing the neighbor and child as well. That led to a life sentence In Shawshank prison. A little bit later Andy Is send to prison for almost the same thing, he also killed his wife. Andys time in the prison starts out rough, people don’t like him, they see him as a snob and more than one time he gets beat up and raped in the laundry room by a group in the prison named the sisters. Andy one day goes up to red and they start to talk, Andy eventually asks Red if he could help him get some of his tone collections in the prison. Couple of years later and Andy has worked his way up to being pretty high in the prison hierarchy, he has helped the guards with some money problems and eventually talks with Red about this second identity he has built up to the day he going to escape.

Red doesn't think of this much until many years later where one morning Andy's sell is empty. Behind the poster red helped him get in the prison is a hole in the concrete that leads down to the sewer. Red never hears anything from Andy but only receives a blank post card from a town in Texas.
