The story mainly takes place in the prison (Shawshank). ? There are a lot of indications that makes you able to picture how the environment is inside the prison. The prison isolates the prisoners from the outside world, and they keep their guards high, so they don’t trust each other that much, and due to the lack of trust the prisoners have to keep it straight business. as in “if you get me this thing, i’ll grant you the thing you want” that’s the kind of relationship they have with each other . |
