My name is [NAVN A]. I am studying at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and I have been asked to explain the ongoing situation about immigration. Before we start, even though I technically already began ha-ha, I’d like to take the chance thank you for giving me the opportunity to come here and talk about the immigration at the EU Youth Conference 2014.

So, as I introduced before, I’m here to discuss a topic that is taking a huge point in Britain: Immigration. I will talk about the social, cultural, economic, and political aspect of the immigration in the United Kingdom. I have brought with me some material that I have personally chosen to support my topic, the texts of David Cameron’s Immigration speech which is important and the text ‘Majority of voters think immigration is harming Britain.
First, we should be a great idea to make sure everyone knows what immigration actually is. So, let’s get into that. Oxford dictionaries explains ‘’the action of coming to live permanently in a foreign country’’. And if this makes no sense at all I will explain it in ordinary English. Immigration is when a person emigrates from one country to another and then stays in that new country. This means when a people leave their country to go to another one, they are immigrating.
