The main topic I chose to use is Traveling, and my topic is Australia.
Why did I choose this topic?
Australia is one of my dream countries I want to visit, I really want to visit it because my family has been there countless times. I am also just so fascinated by the Australian culture, it’s so interesting.
In janurary 26th, 1788 captain cook and his crew invaded new south wales, with 11 british ships. In 1915 they helped in ww1 and 39% of the men in australia joined, it relly gave australia a good strong reputation, but even tho they did great they also lost a war in 1932 it’s called the great emu war bc the population of emus was too big e.g… tried two times.
The aboriginals is the oldest continuous culture it’s over 60.000 years. The aborigines uses a special hunting tool, it’s called a boomerang and bc of it’s aerodynamic shape it can come back if you throw it in a certain angle. The dreamtime is what the aboriginals believe in, it’s a story about how australia was flat b4 the spirits came and make mountains and rivers and animals. The DNA from aborigines show that they arrived from asia.
