Well, he did it again! George W. Bush has won the presidential election for the second time in a row. Many people around the world are very upset and think that a man like Bush is not capable of controlling the most powerful nation in the world, well if he isn’t then who is? Not John Kerry that’s one thing for sure, because he just lost the presidential election. Bill Clinton was more focused on his apprentice, Ms. Monica Lewinsky, and Ralph Nadar? Don’t know why he is even running for president. After 9/11 many have accused Bush of striking back too fast, because he didn’t really have any good reasons. Well the attack a World Trade Center was not only an attack on New York, not only an attack on America, but also an attack on western culture. Should he have waited? I don’t think so; I think he did the right thing. He stroke back immediately and showed that the U.S.A. will not tolerate any kind of terrorism.
I’ve heard people saying that Bush’s “attack” on Iraq was an act of a terrorist, well if a terrorist is a man, who freed the Iraqi people from the dictator, Saddam Hussein, and wants to make Iraq a democratic county. In my eyes that is not an act of a terrorist, but an act of a hero. His reason for attacking Iraq was that his staff has informed him, that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. They could not find any weapons; maybe Saddam already had removed them or maybe there never any weapons. A mistake by Bush, I’m willing to admit that, but look at the positives, he removed Saddam and he gave the Iraqi people a future where they can live freely, in a democratic country, isn’t that reason enough to “attack” Iraq?
