This assignment is about the heart and how it affects our body in rest and in activity. In that connection you need to understand the large and small circulation. The assignment also focuses on the autonomic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system is dominant when the body is active. It sends out nor-adrenaline and at the same time it sends signals to adrenal gland witch result in an excrete of adrenaline that increases the pulse. The parasympathetic nervous system works opposite. When you stop the activity the parasympathetic nervous systems job is to regenerate the body with new energy. This reduces the pulse.
In connection with that I will look at how a good condition affects the body. In the class we have made some tests, one of them where a two-point test and Simon was the subject. That test and its results in the assignment are used to confirm the theory of how a good condition affects the body’s reaction.
