Indian camp resume

Nick and his father were going to an Indian camp. There was a lady there who were

sick.

When they arrived uncle George was smoking a cigar in the dark, and handed some

out to some Indians.

In the camp was a young lady, who had tried to have her baby for two days.

The young lady’s husband sat in a corner smoking pipe, he had a very bad cut in his

foot. While they were heating up water he told Nick about the young Indian in labours

situation. The young lady screamed out of pain, but Nicks father had forgotten his

anaestheticsLater he started to operate on the young lady, meanwhile uncle George

and three Indian men where holding. She bit uncle George in his arm, and he got very

upset.

It all took a long time. When the baby got out, he slapped it so it would breathe.

He handed the baby to its mother, and told Nick that it was a boy.

When his father stitch her up, Nick looked away, she had gotten some damages from

the incision he made. When Nicks father went to see how the father was, he found

him laying on the floor.
