because Why have I chosen this topic?

I have chosen this topic because it is a very interesting topic, and it is important for the young people in America. And I want to know more about what they do that night, and that kind of things.

What is prom?

The word prom comes promenade, prom is a special night for seniors, but juniors can go too. Each year there is a theme for the prom. It might be a blues theme, a country theme, or whatever, and you dress up accordingly. You have to dress up really nicely. It can’t be clothes you wear every day. If you are a boy you will rent or buy a tuxedo. The boy will buy his date special flowers corsage and it have to match to the girls dress, and he may rent a limousine to pick him up and buy the tickets for the prom. The guys hang out a while and then get dressed in the last minute. Girls will buy an expensive dress a ball gown and will have her hair done and maybe even get a manicure. When the boy arrives at the girl’s home he is likely to be greeted by proud parents wielding a camera and they take pictures as a memory.
