En udvekslingsstudents prom-aften i USA

I’m a Danish exhange student in United States, Yesterday I went for a prom, and I want to write about it now.

In long time, I had been looking forward for the prom. I knew it was going to be a very special evening. One day I went for the town, with one of my friends, buying dresses for us, mine was a long elegantly red dress, with a lot of smart details.

In the last few days up to the prom-day, I have been thinking about, who my date was going to be, because, I didn’t know many people on the school, that I was on, but I had been talking a lot with a sweet guy, called Jake. He was tall, had brown eyes, and short brown hair, I really liked him. One day before the prom, I didn’t have a date yet, so I was a little nerve. But in the evening, Jake asked if I would be his date. I was extremely happy, and of course I replied yes.

During the night up to the day, where the prom was held, I didn’t really slept, I was so excited at how things were going to be. But when I woke up in the morning, I was not tired. Off course I had slept for a few hours. I was looking so much forward to the prom, and I was sure that I would get a good night with Jake.
