The story is about a woman named Miriam, who lives alone, and a man – a taxi driver, who also lives alone. Miriam is a successful nursing agency, but she have a problem with her heart, so she often have to go to the hospital, and then she takes a taxi – she don’t wants to take a ambulance. Then the taxi driver comes in, in the picture because it is him who always drives Miriam at the hospital and home again, the taxi driver talks about his live to Miriam, he tells that he really don’t think that his life is good, he describes it as, that he lives like a dog, alone. Maybe because where he comes from, the dog does not have such as good lives as the dogs here. And then it gives them a new way of seeing how other people lives.

Characterize Miriam and the life she lives.

Miriam lives alone, she do not have children or a husband. She has a great career, as a nursing agency! – She is very good to her job. But she has a problem with her heart, so she haves to come at the hospital often and get the heart started again. It seems like she is stressed out.
