'A Child Called It', analyse af Dave Pelzers bog

I have read a book named ”a child called ”it”, and the book is written by a man named Dave Pelzer, and the thing that makes the book so special is that he writes about him as a child.

DAVE PELZER

Dave Pelzer was born December 29, 1960 in Daly City in California, and today he is a horse breeder and he lives in USA. And as I said, he writes books, and He writes about how he was beaten as a child and how he took himself out of it. He was the third of five boys and in his book he wrote that his mother thought the whole thing was a game. The book “a child called is” was his first book, he has also written books named “the lost boy”, “A man named Dave” and “The Privilege of Youth”. His work has also been criticized and some people think that he making it all up.

THE BOOK

The book is about Dave when he was a small child. In the beginning of the book Dave write about his rescue. So the start of the book is very interesting because you don´t now what happened to him before the rescue. The School nurse in Dave´s school have been watched him for a while, because he is always hungry and have a lots of bruises and scars. Every time she asks him about it he always has excuses. But one day she ask him again about the bruises he have, and when he comes with an excuse, she said that he sad that the last time. After that she knew that something was wrong. Dave tells her about the scar at his stomach and then the nurse leaves the room. After that the school called the police and said everything and Dave was placed in a foster family.
