It is all about a family. They Main character is fourteen and her little sister are eight. It all started with her sister steals a shower gel from her friend Alison. Her dad comes to pick her up and he gets angry on her and wants her to apologize to her. She hoped that it was her mum because she knew that she would have turned into something that she could forgive her. That is the different between her mum and dad. The parents started a row when they came home. They argue a lot, because they her mum is softer it came to Michelle and her dad just want to punish her for what she have done. The main character meets a boy she likes. His name is Gary. They discuss sex and masturbation, but they do not have any contact with each other. They are in that age, were they talks about sex and want some experience.
Her sister does more crimes. She had a good behavior after what she had done the first time. Obviously she do not feel guilty because after what she have done. The main character saw one day that Alison was over. Her mum has suggested inviting her over but her dad had said no because of what have happened the first time. After Alison left, her dad was after her again. She has stolen again. It never stops, because of the problems at home. Her mum do not say anything to it, it is like she do not care. The main character confronts her but she says that she just “lends” it. Her do not do anything about it because she thinks that she is just eight years old and that what they do at that age. Her mum and dad have a hopeless row again. The main character is tired of them arguing all the time. She cannot sleep because she can hear them downstairs.
