Bedtime story: My football match

Dear diary. Long time since, and I’m sorry for that! I have actually kids now, a girl and a boy. It’s because of them I remembered you! They are 4 and 6 years old, and they wanted a bedtime story. My wife was exhausted, so I did the job instead. But when they lay there, and just looked at me. I couldn’t even think at one lazy story to tell them! But then I remembered the 13th may 2019. I was so nerves, you remember? I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t drink. Its almost 12 years since that! I played for Liverpool. We were untouchable! We were undefeated, so we, Liverpool FC, were qualified to the champion’s league final! A final between Liverpool FC and FC Barcelona and a final, I would die for! Ok, not now. But I would 10 years ago. The match began 8 pm. Barcelona were over us from the beginning. They had the most of the play, and we were totally defensive! They were just better than us, so at 36 minutes played Barcelona scored the first goal in the game to 1-0. And that was the halftime result. In the locker room we got a serious pep talk, and that helped allot! After the halftime we were a whole new team! We could finally fight back and do just a little offensive! But after 64 minutes Barcelona scored to 2-0, and all odds were against us! The most of the team have given up already. But then, out of nothing, we scored to 2-1. Barcelona’s goalkeeper drop the ball in front of our attacker. A really lucky goal, but still a goal! A goal that saved us! After that goal we believed that we actually could win this match! And then, after 82 minutes played we scored to 2-2! It started as a corner, which was put into the box. Their goalkeeper came out too late, so I could get a long foot on the ball and kicked the last way into the goal! After that we had all the play. We controlled the ball totally, so at 89 minutes played we got a freekick 27 meters from their goal. Everyone would take it, but it ended up with that I should. I was nerves, but ready! I toke a short run-up, ran then to the ball and kick it perfect! 2-3. Then a little after the referee ended that match and we won!
