Summary:

The film is about a mom (Rachel Lapp) and her son (Samuel Lapp) who is Amish. One day they decided to go to visit Rachel’s sister, but at the train station Samuel needed to go to the toilet. At the toilet Samuel is witness to a murder of a policeman - Samuel saw the two men who murdered the man. John book is a detective and inquire Samuel what he has seen. John book takes Samuel and his mother to his office where Samuel spotted a picture.Samuel sees the man on the picture is one of those who murdered the man at the toilet. John Book tells his commanding officer Chief Paul Schaeffer about his suspicions, and Paul tells him to keep the case secret.On the way home John Book meet the murder who Samuel spotted at the picture. The Murder is James Mcfee. John book was nearly killed. Book wants the family to be safe and ask his partner Carter to remove and destroy the Lapp case. After that Book drive the family home to Pennsylvania. But when John book is on the way home from Pennsylvania, he fainted in the car when he lost a lot of blood. The Lapp family find Book in the car and takes him back to the farm. On the farm he gets better, and that’s because the Amish people helped him. Rachel and John Book get feelings for each other, and Book started to help Rachel’s father on the farm. One day John book get in to a fight. That’s against the Amish rules and some Amish reported it to the police and that news reaches Paul Schaeffer.
