'Dead Poets Society' referat

The film is about some students at Welton school in England, and at the start of the semester there is a new teacher starting, Mr. Keating. Todd, Neil, Knox, and Charlie, they are about 16-17 years old, and Mr. Keating inspirer his student to read poems. All the way through the movie, the teacher teaches the boys to get more confidence through the poems, and ‘’crap diem’’, as he always says. Mr. Keating has a very strange way to teach the boys poems, by playing football. The other teachers and the boy’s parents, is not to exiting about his way of teaching, because it’s a school where discipline is a very high priority. And the parents expect a lot from their children. The boys in Mr. Keating’s class get a really good relationship to each other. The boys found out that Mr. Keating, created a club, when he was a student at Welton, called Dead Society Club. It’s was at a little cave in the woods outside the school. Todd, Neil and the other boys, when there when it was dark and night, to rad there poems and poems from the book they got in class. Neil wanted to to a play at the school, but he didn’t got the permission from his dad, so he asked Mr. Keating for advice. He says, that he should explain he dad why I wanted to do it. Neil did that, and his dad said yes, but he wasn’t happy about it. So he performed the play for the school, and went home with his dad after. They came home, and then his dad said that he was sending him to military schools. Neil committed suicide, mostly because of his dad. But the the teachers and Neil’s dad, blamed Mr. Keating for Neil’s suicide. The took the other boys in the headmaster office and presses the boys to admit that it was Mr. Keating fault that Neil died, and they could sign Mr. Keating’s dismissal papers. The boys blamed the dad for Neil’s dead, but couldn’t do anything. In the end of the movie, the boys were sitting in the classroom with their new teacher, when Mr. Keating walked in and asked if he could get his stuff. He went to a back room, and when he walked back. The students stood on their table and yelled “Oh captain! My captain’’
