Terry’s heart skipped a beat. He felt like he was the luckiest boy in the whole world. “Mollie was here together with me and not with anybody else, with me”, Terry thought to himself. Mollie smiled carefully at Terry. Terry melted inside. His face suddenly turned all red and warm and his stomach…. it felt like there were thousands of butterflies flying round in there. It was one of the best feelings, he had ever had. He could look at that smile all day long. It was so amazing. Just that little smile from her made him all warm. She meant the world to him. He had never been so in love in his entire life. After a few awkward minutes Terry tried to start a sensible conversation. “Isn’t the weather nice today?”, he asked carefully and very embarrassed. “Is that all I could come up with? Is the weather nice today? I am so stupid! I hate myself. Now she probably thinks, I am the dumbest guy in the whole world”, Terry thought to himself while he was quickly trying to come up with something else he could say instead. However, before he even got a chance to say anything, Mollie answered with a low and sweet voice. “Yes, the weather is really warm and amazing today”. Terry nodded, and asked if they should order something to drink. Mollies friend suddenly said. “You two can just stay here but I have to go home now, my father just called”. Mollie followed her friend outside and left Terry waiting for her to come back. Terry’s only thought while she was gone was that now he was totally alone with Mollie. There was nobody else, just the two of them. When Mollie came back they ordered a soda. Mollie then suggested that instead of eating by the youth club they could go down to the local fish and chip shop and get a take-out so that they could go back to her place and watch a good movie. “Of course”, Terry answered, that “he would be thrilled to do so”. So the two of them left the club and Mollie gently took his hand and placed it in hers and then they took of into the beautiful night.
