Amish people I thought it was cool, that Amish people lived in small isolated groups and found each other. The small groups came from Europe and the small groups were scattered in Europe and it was Swheiz, France, Germany and the Netherlands. They moved to America in three major groups. Because the Amish people fleeing Europe, was because they were tortured and burned at the stake. The first group moved to about 1730 and settled in the newly opened land, called eastern Pennsylvania, called Lancaster County. The second major group came between 1810 and 1860 and settled mainly farther west
