Group pressure is something that a lot of people experience. It can be hard to say no, and stick to your own opinion, when the others in the group got a different point of view. You can be pushed into doing things, that you know is wrong. But maybe you don't want to seem weak and scared. So you do things you don't want to do, so the group will accept and respect you. Group pressure is also something that plays a big role in this story. The narrator acts the way he does because of the group pressure.
The story is set in a neighborhood in the suburbs, and it is summer time. The story is about four boys. The three boys Hass, Morgan and the narrator, are bullying Simpson. Simpsons claim that he has fucked a girl under the narrators house. They go to Simpsons house, in the beginning they are just talking mean to him and hitting him in the belly. But suddenly they get more violet against him. They take him over to the narrators backyard. They are playing that they are in a court and judge him guilty about lying. Simpsons got really scared and start crying. The narrator said that they had to hang him. They hang him and run out of the backyard. The narrator went back and untried Simpsons. The narrator goes for a walk and when he comes home his father wants to talk with him. He knows about Simpson. And it ends with that the narrators father beats him up. He hides under the bed and just waiting for the next thing.
