There are many definitions of it and many different times one feels "adult " on.
In Denmark it is said that you enter " adulthood " as soon as you are confirmed or also as soon as you turn 18.In other countries, there are other traditions such as having to go hunting or out and see one's father's job etc. There are also various times you become mature and begin to think and act like an adult, girls / women become mature before men. Men will mature around the age of 40.
This story takes place in an Indian camp, the atmosphere in the text is a little sinister: the smelly room, darkness, fog out on the lake and own that is filled with dew .
