My task is to tell the different between Rome and Juliet and West side story. I start you to tell about Romeo and Juliet’s movie. Romeo and Juliet is old story writing by William Shakespeare. In the movie, the story is made in the new time. Things around is made in this time. In the Westside story movie things are made in 1970’s, because of the clothes and things.
Differentia’s:
There are many different between Romeo and Juliet and Westside story. In the start of the Romeo and Juliet you can see that the families are fighting with each other in the station. It starts easily, but after 5 minutes the gun shoots started. In the Westside story things start with hunting each other’s family. The movie is a musical, which means they are dancing and singing. That’s right the opposite in Romeo and Juliet. In the Westside story they also start with hitting each other, but in Romeo and Juliet they just shooting. And later in the Westside story, the police officer coming and he stop the fight between them. That isn’t happening on Romeo and Juliet. Later in Romeo and Juliet the parents are driving the car to see their son, but in Westside story there isn’t any parents. So the parents in Romeo and Juliet driving over to their son and the son is sitting down in the beach and writing a poem. The parents are waiting for him because they are calm. In the Westside story the Jets and the Sharks are just taking home to their hood and talking with their girlfriends. Later on Romeo and Juliet, is Romeo taking home, where his cousin are and them just talking about what happened on the station. In Westside story they are also sitting and talking about what happened.
