In the text Faustus says that he has seen enough to torture him, but then the Bad Angel answers, that it’s not enough to see, he must feel the pain.

The description is definitely reinforced with the association of hell - fire - burning souls - torture - fed with small pieces of flaming fire.

Faustus addresses himself: Page 3 line 18 - 21 “Ah, Faustus, now hast thou but one bare hour to live, and then thou must be damned perpetually.”

Faustus refers to himself in the third person: Page 3 line 26 “That Faustus may repent and save his soul!”

Page 4 line 29 “The devil will come and Faustus must be damned.”

This tells us something about his state of mind. He talks to himself, and it looks like he isn’t normal.

Blank verse consists of unrhymed iambic pentameters - ten syllable lines in which unstressed syllables are followed by stressed syllables.
